The majority of Harlesden town centre businesses are small, independent operators with little time to attend meetings. To make sure they have a voice as well as make it easy for them to raise concerns and bring forward ideas, a new style membership organisation is being set up.

Harlesden Business Improvement Group will use up-to-date internet networking tools ot allow members to pick up information, offer ideas, comment and communicate with other members at their convenience.

Improtantly, members will be able to promote their business offer and as, well as networking facilities for those businesses, the site will allow community access to help promote the town centre and build local loyalty

This innovative approach to business engagement was initiated by Town Centre Management and financially supported through Brent Council's Neighbourhood Working budget.

We want to encourage local business-to-business trading and develop Harlesden enterprise. The aim is to promote the town centre offer and fully involve traders in improving the business environment.
