Harlesden resident named one of Future 100 Young Social Entrepreneurs for 2009 PDF Print E-mail

Davina Roberts, founder and Managing Director of Punch and Juicy Liquid Foods  was announced as one of the Future 100 Young Social Entrepreneurs of the Year during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009.


Global Entrepreneurship Week unleashes people's enterprising ideas to tackle some of society's biggest issues such as climate change, poverty, gender equality and health.

The Future 100 Awards puts the spotlight on young people aged 18-35 who are demonstrating entrepreneurial flair and innovation in running a responsible business venture; one which demonstrates a balance between economic, environmental and social goals to achieve ultimate business success.

Punch and Juicy aims to:

  • Create Voluntary positions for individuals with low chances of securing mainstream employment due to vulnerable backgrounds (i.e. medical/housing/ability/social exclusion)

  • Equip a minimum of 100 vulnerable individuals with a functional skill that can be used in the kitchen and to teach others.
